Enhanced Package Editor

Packages are awesome, but they don’t work when you have auto-labor calculations on the job like I do. The problem I am having is trying to create a package where an additional camera can be added to the package for $200.00 even. I can get the pricing perfect in the package editor, but when I add that package to the job, it adds on .2 hours of labor per hour of labor on the job, which is one of my global settings. (Those .2 hours account for my project manager and some labor overage).




I can do the math and figure out what the hours need to be on the part in order to account for this .2 hour auto-calculation (.833333 hours added for each 1 hour desired) , but WeSuite is rounding off the decimal places as such that the calculation is close, but not perfect.




I would suggest a more robust package editor which allows the following:

• Labor grid
• Labor tasks
• Global price adjustment. Yes, I know that the package editor does have a price adjustment feature, but it doesn’t factor in the auto labor calculations that will be added on the job.

An additional option would be to create a “Save as Package” button from the job creator. This would allow all of the options I outlined above (labor grid, labor tasks, global price adjustment) to be factored into the package already.
